Skill-upseed Africa was established in Mbale, Uganda with a mission to empower underprivileged women, youth, and refugees through skills development and entrepreneurship training.
Reached our first milestone of 100 trained beneficiaries across entrepreneurship and permaculture programs. Established first 5 community gardens in Eastern Uganda.
Opened a second training center in Gulu, Northern Uganda, focusing on refugee communities. Launched ICT & Digital Literacy program with 3 computer labs.
Reached 1,000 trained beneficiaries across all programs. Established seed capital fund providing startup capital to 150 small businesses. Expanded to Central and Western Uganda.
Received international recognition for our work with refugee communities. Formed partnerships with 5 international NGOs and secured multi-year funding for program expansion.
Reached 3,000 beneficiaries milestone. Launched new programs in social entrepreneurship and clean energy. Planning expansion to neighboring countries in East Africa.
